Monadnock Table wins APEX 2013 Award of Excellence
KEENE, N.H. (February 22, 2014) – Monadnock Table, a quarterly guide to the region’s food, farms and community, has been awarded the APEX 2013 Award of Excellence in the "magazine and journals" category for publications with 32 pages or more. This is the second year in a row that the Keene-based publication has won the award.
APEX is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures and websites.
According to the APEX 2013 judges, the awards were based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content and the success of the entry in conveying the message and achieving overall communications effectiveness.
The magazine has been publishing quarterly issues since June 2010; in December 2013 The Keene Sentinel purchased the magazine. It is now published six times a year.
“We are honored by this award,” says Marcia Passos Duffy, co-founder of the magazine and editor, “The award reflects the team effort of many people in our community who help us put the magazine together every season."
